The InterContinental Dhaka was alive with the electrifying energy of boxing enthusiasts as the "Beximco Xcel Boxing Championship 2.0 Fight Night" unfolded.

With 16 participants from various countries, the night witnessed eight intense bouts across categories such as Super Middleweight, Flyweight, Bantamweight, Super Lightweight, Welterweight and Light Heavyweight.

The Bangladesh Boxing Foundation-sanctioned event commenced with a gripping Bantamweight bout between Bangladeshi boxers, Aminul and Al Sunny with the latter emerging victorious, showcasing exceptional skill sets.

International bouts began with a face-off in the Super Middleweight category between Yugandhar Tambat and Jewel Ahmed Jony.

Despite Tambat's aggressive approach, Jony clinched the win with his impeccable scoring punches.

The female bout, a much-anticipated event, saw Tanzila and Afra Khondokar battle it out over six rounds

Tanzila, the former WBU Intercontinental Title Challenger, secured victory, adding another feather to her cap.

The fourth fight was a thrilling encounter between Jahidul Islam, a former national champion, and the Turkish champion, Batuhan Boral.

Boral maintained his unbeaten streak by defeating Jahidul through a technical knockout in the fourth round.

Local hero Al Amin made Bangladesh proud as he defeated Russian fighter Konstantin Rudenko in the Welterweight category after a four-round battle.

In a display of national pride, Al Amin dominated the ring, defeating the Russian fighter.

The undefeated Bangladeshi boxer, Uthsob Ahmed, and India's undefeated Bantamweight, Pawan Kumar Arya, gave the audience a match to remember.

In every round of the bout, Uthsob cornered Pawan with his powerful punches and great jabs.

Uthsob’s calm strategy of blocking, defending and attacking the opponent took him to victory.

On the other hand, Pawan performed very skillfully as well.

But the effective playing tactics of Uthsob remained throughout the match.

The six-round bout in the Bantamweight category concluded with Uthsob's victory.

In a gripping match, "The Tiger", French welterweight Dervis Florent, faced off against Nepalese welterweight champion Bharat Chand.

After six intense rounds in the Welterweight category, Dervis emerged as the winner.

The evening reached a crescendo with the face-off between Pro-Boxing's Bangladeshi champion Sura Krishna Chakma and Nepal's Mahendra Bahadur Chand in the Super Lightweight category.

Over eight nail-biting rounds, Sura demonstrated his prowess by knocking out Mahendra twice in the first half.

While Mahendra showcased commendable tenacity, it was Sura's time to shine.

As the final bell rang, the roaring applause from the audience celebrated not just Sura’s win but also the spirit of sportsmanship and the passion for boxing that the night epitomized.
