Starting from Saturday, Bangladeshi triathlete Mohammad Shamsuzzaman Arafat will take part in the upcoming Ironman World Championships, including the Ironman 70.3 World Championship, Ironman World Championship, Berlin Marathon and Ironman Malaysia.
These events are scheduled to take place in Finland, France, Germany and Malaysia.
Embracing the motto of a limitless life, the Bangladesh Bank professional has already made headlines by successfully crossing the Bangla Channel nine times, completing the Teknaf to Tetulia run in just 20 days, and achieving various other exceptional feats.
He has previously taken part in different Ironman events across Malaysia, Thailand, Germany and the United States.
Reputed nutrition company Care Nutrition is partnering with Arafat on his journey with its premium brand Nutri Plus for the upcoming competitions.
"I am very excited to participate and represent Bangladesh in the upcoming triathlon Championships. I have worked tremendously hard to reach here. An Ironman triathlon is one of a series of long-distance triathlon races consisting of a 3.9km swim, a 180.2km bicycle ride and a 42.2km marathon run which is considered one of the most difficult one-day sporting events in the world.
