Farhad maintains his solo lead

SM Farhadur Imam maintained his solo lead in the points table with seven points at the end of the 8th and penultimate round’s game of the Metropolis Chess at the Chess Federation hall room yesterday.  Anisuzzaman Mallick, Obaidul Islam Shahin, Khondakar NazreMowla, Gyusuddin Mithu and Sabya Sachi Mondal were sharing the 2nd position with 6.5 points each. In the 8th round, Farhad drew with Shahin, Anis drew with Mowla, Mithu beat Md. Shamsul Islam and Sabyasachi beat Moniruzzaman Khan.
