Anisuzzaman Mallick and Mohammed Salim are now jointly leading the Metropolis Chess Tournament-2013 with a maximum five points each after the 5th round. Salim defeated Monir, while Anis beat Shamsul in the fifth round at the chess federation room yesterday. SM Farhadur Imam and Mohammed Hafizul Islam Chapal were in joint second position with 4.5 points, while Moniruzzaman Khan, Md Shamsul Haque, Khondokar Nazre Mowla, Obaidul Islam Shahin, Amir Hossain, Faisal Hossain, Sheik Md. Khairul Islam, Abzid Rahman and Habibur Rahman Sohel all have four points to share the third position.
