Bangladesh reach Archery World Cup quarter-final

In the pre-quarterfinal, Bangladesh outplayed Spain by 6-2 margin to reach the top 8 but lost to China 2-6 in the quarter-final

Bangladesh team comprising Hakim Ahmed Rubel, Sagor Islam and Ramkrishna Saha made it into the quarter-final of the recurve team event at the Archery World Cup Stage 1 in Antalya, Turkey.

They first ranked 10th out of 28 teams in the qualification round with a score of 1972 before beating Ukraine by 6-2 in the opening elimination round.

In the pre-quarterfinal, they outplayed Spain by same 6-2 margin to reach the top eight but lost to China 2-6 in the quarter-final.

Meanwhile in the recurve mixed team event, Rubel and Diya Siddique placed 26th out of 33 teams in the qualification round.
