Golden Chess Club maintained their solo lead in the points table of the Philosophia 2nd Division Chess League with 11 match points at the end of the 6th round at the Chess Federation hall-room on Saturday.
Debadas Biswas Smiriti Sangsad were placed second with 10 match points. Pabna Daba Club and Bangladesh Police are jointly in third position with eight match points each while Perfect Fashion Chess Club stands fourth with six match points.
In the 6th round games, Golden Chess drew 2-2 with Bangladesh Police, Debadas Biswas Sangsad beat Rajshahi Daba Unnoun Sanghasta 3-1, Pabna Daba Club beat Dhanmondi Lake Chess Club by 2½-1½ points, Perfect Fashion Chess Club beat Gendaria Friends Chess Club 4-0, Shahid Rony Shariful Daba Sangah drew 2-2 with Nahar Chess Academy and Bangladesh Women Chess Association beat Sonargao Chess Club by 2.5-1.5 points.
