Argentina national kabaddi team are all set to arrive in Bangladesh Friday morning to take part in the third edition of the Bangabandhu Cup International Kabaddi Tournament.
The biggest international kabaddi competition of the country will be held at the national kabaddi stadium in Dhaka from March 13 to 21.
There were eight teams in the last two editions, but this time the number of participating countries increased to 12.
The Latin American country's kabaddi team are scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:10am.
Other participating teams are Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Chinese Taipei, Iraq, Kenya, England, Poland and hosts Bangladesh.
The grouping, fixtures and format of the tournament will be finalized this Sunday during the managers' meeting, informed Habibur Rahman, general secretary of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation.
Bangladesh won both the previous editions in 2021 and 2022.
