Bangladesh International Master Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar finished 18th while GM Niaz Murshed finished 19th in the men’s individual section of the 4th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Incheon, South Korea Wednesday. Sagar and Niaz earned 4 points each from seven games.
In the 6th round, Sagar beat Akhras Khaled of Syria and Niaz beat Oo Zaw of Myanmar.
In the 7th round, Sagar drew with GM Bayarsaikhan Gundavaa of Mongolia and Niaz drew with FM Mohamed Samir of Syria.
In the Women’s Individual WIM Shamima Akter Liza became 19th with 4 points and WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin became 26th with 3.5 points.
