Winning starts for Niaz and Minhaz

Bangladesh Grandmaster Niaz Murshed and International Master  Minhazuddin Ahmed both won their 1st round games in  the classical chess section of the 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Art Games at Incheon, South Korea yesterday. Niaz beat Celis Chang Joel of Macau and Minhaz beat Ashraf Ahmed of Maldives. In the women’s individual section, WIM Shamima Sultana won her 1st round game against Cho Yeonhee of South Korea, while WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin lost against GM Zhao Xue of China.
