Chess team to play in Incheon

Bangladesh chess team will participate in the 4th Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games scheduled to start from  June 30 to July 7 in Incheon, South Korea. Grand Master Niaz Murshed, International Master Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar, Women’s IM Shamima Akter Liza and WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin will represent Bangladesh. Mohammad Jahangir Islam and Shamim Khan were named as the officials. There are four chess events in the indoor game and they are: Men’s Individual Classical Chess, Women’s Individual Classical Chess, Team Rapid Chess and Team Blitz Chess.
