Avik achieves success at Malaysian Championship series

Avik won Race 2 of round 1 and is currently 2nd in the championship

Bangladeshi racer H M Tauhid Anwar, popularly known as Avik Anwar, achieved yet another success as he finished on P1 among 37 competitors in the Malaysian Championship Series. 

The series, takes place in Sepang International Circuit, is regarded as one of the fiercest of Malaysia and racers from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India and Bangladesh took part in the competition. 

Avik won Race 2 of round 1 and is currently 2nd in the championship. 

The Bangladeshi racer took part in the championship for the fourth time, three years ago he joined the race for the first time and got a podium position in round four race two of the championship. 

He also did a 9-hour endurance race in the 2019 Malaysian Sepang 1000 km race.

The next round will be held on 18th and 19th June.

Avik has been hoisting Bangladesh’s flag high in the global arena and this year he has earned many accolades including the NGK pro Championship in Dubai to become the first-ever international motorsport championship winner from Bangladesh.
