Bangladesh's archery pair Diya Siddique and Hakim Ahmed Rubel have bagged gold medal in recurve mixed team event at 2023 Asia Cup Archery in Taoyuan, Taiwan Sunday.
It was the last day of the first stage of the Asia Cup, a world ranking tournament, which got underway last Tuesday.
Diya and Rubel beat Yassova Alina and Abdullin Ilfat of Kazakhstan by 5-3 in the finals.

The duo earlier thrashed Australia's Laura Paeglis and Ryan Tyack 5-1 in the semi-finals after outplaying Malaysia 6-2 in the elimination round.
The archers of India, Philippines, Chinese Taipei and Hong Kong were among other participants in the mixed team finals of top eight.
Rubel also won an individual bronze medal in the recurve men's singles event after defeating Kazakhstan's Abdullin Llfat 6-4 in the third-place battle.
