Razib draws, Zia loses

Bangladesh GM Enamul Hossain Razib drew with Indian IM Ramnath Bhuvanesh, while Bangladesh’s other GM, Ziaur Rahman lost to Indian IM Swayams Mishra in the 8th round of the 6th Mayor Cup International Open Chess at Mumbai yesterday. At the end of the 8th round Razib has 5 points, while Zia remained on 4.5 points. In the other matches, Debaraj lost to Dahale Atul of India, Parag lost to Raghunandan of India, Zoar beat Dave Shiv Shankar of India, Afzal got a walk-over against Purushothaman of India, Taher got walk-over against Shah Jahnvi of India and Kashem lost to Ponkshe Sarang of India. FM Debaraj Chatterjee, FM Mehdi Hasan and Zoar Haque Pradhan all have 3.5 points each.
