Bangladesh Ansar & VDP clinched the title of Mujib Barsho National Women’s Kabaddi after nine years beating Police by 22-16 points in the final Wednesday. The 2011 champions led the first half 10-8.
Earlier on Tuesday’s semifinals, Ansar thrashed Faridpur 58-8 while Police defeated Jhinaidah by 38-14 points. Brishty of Police was adjudged the best player of tournament while Ansar’s Smrity became player of the final.
