The final round of the Mujib Barsho National Women’s Kabaddi got underway Monday with the participation of four zonal champions Jhenidah, Rangpur, Rangamati and Faridpur and two service teams Ansar and Police.
Group A comprises Ansar, Jhenidah and Rangpur while Group B contains Police, Rangamati and Faridpur.
In the tournament opener, Jhenidah beat Rangpur by 49-14 points, Faridpur defeated Rangamati 39-24 while Police beat Faridpur 47-9.
The tournament, organized by Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation, was inaugurated at National Kabaddi Stadium where the State Minister for Youth and Sports, Jahid Ahsan Russel was the chief guest.
