Bangladesh Navy retained the Victory Day Kabaddi title after beating Bangladesh Air Force by 38-25 points in the final Sunday evening at National Kabaddi Stadium in Dhaka.

Navy, who registered two lonas both in the second half, and Air Force were tied 10-10 at the first half break but inspiring performances from Arduzzaman Munshi and Tuhin guided the former to victory.

This was the first kabaddi tournament held in the country after the Covid-19 pandemic halted all sporting activities in March.

Earlier on the same day, Navy and Air Force won their respective groups after defeating Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Police by 39-31 and 50-28 points respectively.
