Young archery star Ety Khatun bagged gold medal after beating Beauty Roy by 6-5 sets in the female’s recurve singles final of Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Victory Day Archery Tournament which concluded in Tongi Wednesday.
Abdur Rahman Alif defeated Ruman Shana by 6-2 sets in the semi-final before outplaying Pradipta Chakma by straight 6-0 sets to clinch first spot in the men’s recurve event.
Alif also won mixed team final along with Beauty.
Mohammad Ashiquzzaman and Shyamoli Roy won gold in the men’s and women’s compound singles event respectively.
Ashim Kumar Das and Tania Rima became first in mixed team event.
