Only three days after the colourful logo unveiling ceremony, the Bangladesh Cycling Federation had to postpone the Bangabandhu International Freestyle Stunt Cycling 2020 due to the Coronavirus threat.
The maiden edition of the three-day long meet was earlier scheduled to begin on February 27 at the Sheikh Russel Roller Skating Complex with the participation of 25 countries.
“We received big response from participating countries some of whom requested us to defer the tournament due to coronavirus. So we decided to postpone the event. It is likely to be in April.” said BCF president Shafiullah Al Munir after an executive committee meeting yesterday.
