Bangladesh carried on their fine form in the Junior Kabaddi World Cup as they swept into the semi-final in the inaugural edition of the meet after beating Thailand by 62-37 points in the fourth quarter-final in Kish Island, Iran Thursday.
The junior men in red and green are scheduled to face favorite and host Iran in the second semi-final Thursday night.
Iran defeated Chinese Taipei 53-31 in the first semi on the same day.
Earlier, Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan 84-11 and Chinese Taipei 48-36 to reach the last-eight as group champion.
