Four top bodybuilders from Bangladesh – Anwar Hossain, Ronjit Chandra Sarkar, Ruslan Mohammed Hossain and M Rafiqul Islam – left here for China Wednesday to take part in the 2019 Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship, scheduled to be held in Harbin from Friday to Monday.
Ronjit, who won gold medal in the men’s bodybuilding event in the IFBB Pro World Regional Championship 2018 in Singapore, will participate in the same event in China while Anwar, who won bronze in classic physique event in the same event in Singapore, will participate in the classic bodybuilding and men’s physique event.
Rafiqul, who won silver in men’s masters event in Singapore last year, will try his luck in the men’s masters bodybuilding event.
Ruslan will take part in the same event as Ronjit.
Bodybuilders from 40 Asian countries will be participating in the four-day meet.
