Both Bangladesh men’s and women’s team finished runners-up in the four-nation International Dueball Championship which took place at Rupnagar in Chandigarh, Punjab, India.
Bangladesh men got India in the men’s final on Monday where they went very close but only to lose the thrilling encounter by 6-5. Jamal scored twice for the visitors while Khairuzzaman, Rajib and Sudhan added one each.
The women’s team final was held on Sunday where the same finalists competed for the title. Bangladesh women’s dueball team lost to India by 4-2.
