Army, Ansar retain Victory Day Kabaddi

Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Ansar retained the title of the Victory Day Kabaddi Championship after winning their respective finals at National Kabaddi Stadium in Dhaka Tuesday afternoon.

It was a neck-and-neck contest in the last match of the women’s kabaddi where Ansar eventually clinched the title winning the game by 24-23 points. 

Ansar, led by veteran national captain Shahnaz Parvin, have a group of national players in the squad and won all their six matches to finish the campaign with highest 12 points. 

Army won the men’s final comfortably after handing Bangladesh Police a 37-29 points loss.
