Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Ansar emerged as the champions of the men’s and women’s section of the Vasavi Beach Kabaddi respectively after winning their respective finals at the Sugandha beach point in Cox’s Bazar Sunday.
Navy defeated Border Guard Bangladesh by 35-32 points in the men’s final while Ansar outplayed Bangladesh Police by 44-25 in the women’s final.
Bangladesh Jail and BJMC finished third in the men’s and women’s category respectively.

BGB’s Mohammad Zakir Hossain and Police’s Hafiza were adjudged the best player of the tournament in their respective category.
Navy’s Mohammad Tuhin Tarafdar and Ansar’s Sraboni Akter became the player of the final.
A total of eight teams took part in the men’s section while six teams competed in the women’s section in the four-day event.
