The Advocate Golam Mostofa Memorial South Asian Club Table Tennis Championship will be held from Saturday to Monday in Chittagong, the organisers informed during a press conference at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in Dhaka Wednesday.
League champions from six nations will participate in the tournament. Bangladesh’s Pallic Group, India’s Bengal Club, Bhutan’s Thimphu TT Club, Nepal’s Huawei TT Club, Maldives Maldovian TT Club, Sri Lanka’s Southern TT Club and Pakistan’s Karachi Gymkhana Club will be competing for the prize.
A total of 15 matches will be played in accordance with the round robin format. The athletes from Nepal are due to arrive Thursday, followed by athletes from the other four nations Friday.
