Bangladesh Hockey Federation will arrange insurance coverage for the national team players with a view to pull out the best possible performances from them in the international arena.
Green Delta Insurance, the leading insurance company of the country, and the sponsors of the senior division hockey league will provide the insurance coverage.
General secretary Khaja Rahmatullah said the insurance coverage will help the players to perform to the best of their ability.
“It is true that we fail to help a player properly when he gets injured while playing for the national team. The insurance package will keep them mentally stable.”
The national side’s next assignment is the Hockey World League round two in Singapore January next.
