Former national hockey player Sabbir Yousuf, also a national award winner, passed away on Wednesday night in Singapore. He was 66. The deceased left behind his wife, two sons and a daughter. Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF), Bangladesh Sports Writers Association and different other sports organisations expressed deep shock at the death of the hockey legend and extended heartfelt sympathies and deep condolences to the family of the deceased.
Yousuf was elected vice president of the BHF in last year’s election.
