Municipal School Jessore reached the semifinals of the First Security Islami Bank National School Hockey beating Chittagong Municipal Model School by 4-3 goals after a penalty shoot-out in the first quarterfinal. The stipulated time ended goalless.
In the second quarterfinal, Khanjanpur High School, Joypurhat beat Nawab Habibullah School, Dhaka by 3-0 goals. Ayub Hossioan Rakib scored twice while Mehedi netted the other for the winning team.
Zinzira PM Pilot High School and Rangpur Keramatia High School will play in the 3rd quarterfinal while Armanitola High School and Al Hikmah School of Rajshahi will face each other in the 4th quarterfinal on Friday.
