ATN Bangla sponsors national hockey

Bangladesh Hockey Federation sealed a five-year national hockey championship deal worth Tk10m with satellite channel ATN Bangla at the hockey federation yesterday. As per the deal, ATN Bangla will provide Tk2m to the hockey federation every year till 2018 to organise the national hockey championship. They also agreed to provide the championship and runners-up trophy, but the federation will have to contribute the prize money. The first edition of the sponsored event is expected to take place next year. Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman, chairman of ATN Bangla, and Air Marshal Enamul Bari, president of Bangladesh Hockey Federation, signed the deal on behalf of their respective organisations.
