Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) general secretary Khwaja Rahmatullah confirmed the appointment of national hockey team coach Ajay Bhansal and said that the Indian will arrive in Dhaka as soon as the training camp begins. "Bhansal will be the coach and it is final. He will arrive when the national training camp begins," said the GS. However, the training camp which was scheduled to start from May 14 did not take place. It was postponed due to national players' protest demanding a confirmed date for the transfer window. The federation sat with the players several times to find a solution and Rahmatullah said they will talk to the clubs hoping they will agree with the players' demand.
