Versatile sports personality and former national hockey player, Ibrahim Saber passed away in Dhaka Wednesday afternoon.
The National Award Winner, who was admitted to Bangladesh Medical College Hospital three days ago, breathed his last at the same hospital at the age of 74.
He left behind two sons, one daughter and many well-wishers to mourn his death.
Saber, a left-half, got the opportunity to play for Pakistan national team, and continued playing for the Bangladesh team after independence.
He was also popular in cricket grounds and played football and basketball in the top division.
