Siddikur Rahman could only play seven holes before a thunderstorm forced the suspension of the third round of the season-opening SAIL-SBI Open yesterday and with two birdies out of the seven, the Bangladesh golfing ace moved to within one stroke of co-leaders Sri Lanka’s Mithun Perera and India’s Rashid Khan.
Siddikur carded birdies on the first and seventh holes in the US$300,000 Asian Tour event which is being held at the Delhi Golf Club and now he has a total of 12-under-par.
