Bad weather halts day one of CJ Invitational

Update : 10 Oct 2013, 06:13 PM

Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman carded a one-under-par before he was forced to finish the weather-disrupted first day playing only 12 holes at the CJ Invitational Hosted by KJ Choi at the Haesley Nine Bridges Golf Club yesterday.

Siddikur, who posted two birdies along with a single bogey, is among the 60 players who will return today to resume the first round at 7am after play was called off for the day due to darkness.

Play was suspended earlier in the morning for two hours and 30 minutes due to thick fog at the $750,000 showpiece event. Meanwhile, Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand recovered from an early bogey to seize the initiative after shooting seven-under-par through 13 holes in the Asian Tour event.
