The Mir Corporate Football Fiesta, powered by International Turkish Hope School, gets underway at the school premises in Uttara tomorrow. For the very first time in the country, a corporate football competition will be played in an artificial turf and under lights at an outdoor field. Sponsored by Mir Group, the fiesta will feature 16 renowned corporate houses - Mir Group, Int’l Turkish Hope School, Accenture-GPIT, Bando Design, Spell-Bound, HSBC, IDLC, Qubee, Magnito Digital, Computer Source, Comfit Composite Knit Ltd, Vizrt, Dhaka Tribune, BAT, IFC and SCB.
Clemon is the beverage partner while Asian TV, Colors FM 101.6 and Dhaka Tribune are the media partners of the seven-day tournament.
The event was officially presented to the media by Engineer Fazle Sobhan, executive director of Mir Group. Zubeyir Bayram, section head of ITHS, former footballer Abdul Gaffar, Sheikh Jamal DC coach AKM Maruful Haque and Dhaka Tribune sports editor Raihan Mahmood were also present among other dignitaries in the press conference at the Olympic Bhaban auditorium yesterday.
