The ambassador of United States to Bangladesh Dan W.Mozena hoped that the United States would come forward to assist the Bangladesh football development in the future.
The ambassador was the chief guest at the concluding ceremony of the Sports United program where two former US World Cup footballers, Tony Sanneh and Linda Hamilton, conducted a four-day program with budding male and woman footballers.
“Tony and Linda are the two US sports envoys with whom US feels proud, they arrived here to share the experience and also to know about Bangladesh. Football is a game that shows to win gracefully and also to lose in a graceful way, this program build bridges among two nations and we will try to assist Bangladesh in the process,” said Mozena.
BFF president Kazi Salahuddin urged the ambassador to chalk out a long term program that will assist the development of the game in the country.
Tony Sanneh and Linda Hamilton also expressed happiness over their stay in the country and hoped their advice would help Bangladeshi football.
