Bangladesh Under-16 women’s football team have stunned Jordan by defeating them by 1-0 in AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2015 at Bangabandhu National Stadium in the capital on Wednesday evening.
Bangladeshi midfielder Sanjida Akhter scored the only goal at 70 minutes from penalty of the match.
Meanwhile, in the day’s other game at the same venue, Iran defeated United Arab Emirates by 9-0.
