Zakir Khan, the chief advisor of Canary Wharf UK Bangladesh Football Academy and the chairman of Bangladesh caucus of Conservative Party, has been appointed as the ambassador of West Ham United Football Club recently. He is the first Asian to attain the feat.
Zakir Khan, a Bangladeshi by origin, established the Canary Wharf Football Academy in Bangladesh after the four year long course completion a total of 15 players made their way to the professional league and five of them earned national team calls. The players went to the West Ham Academy and also to the David Beckham Academy for a month-long trial.
All the players and the officials of the Canary Wharf congratulated Zakir Khan on the feat.
