Bangladesh Football Federation tagged BracNet as the official internet service provider for its ICT requirements during a press conference yesterday.
BracNet, one of the oldest ISP firms of the country stepped up to the football arena to assure fast and convenient internet facilities.
The deal was inked at the BFF House by Abdus Salam Murshedy, the senior vice-president of BFF and Major General (rtd) Syeed Ahmed, the CEO of BracNet. As per the deal BracNet will provide the internet connectivity at the BFF House, Bangabandhu National Stadium, Shahid Sipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium, MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong, Sheikh Moni Stadium in Gopalganj and Bhasha Shahid Salam Stadium in Feni. Salam Murshedy welcomed BracNet in the football arena and said, “For the first time we have an official ISP with football, we have every hope that the development process will be boosted with the arrival of BracNet.” Syeed Ahmed also hoped their presence will be a worthy one and said, “We have the passion of sports and look forward to help BFF for attaining greater height. We will provide 10MB speed at the BNS.” BFF general secretary Abu Naeem Shohag and BracNet assistant general manager Ahmed Nafiz Momen were also present on the occasion.
