BFF technical and strategical director Paul Smalley said they will watch the U-18 players “closely” during the BPL as the residential training camp of the U-18 team ended in BKSP on Monday.
The young footballers returned to their respective clubs after the end of the camp with the top flight league getting underway on Friday.
There is likely to be another short camp of around a week before the Saff U-18 Championship, which will be held from September 18-27 this year.
“But we will still be following them very closely. The performance of the players would be monitored as the BPL progresses,” said Smalley.
He added, “In the meantime, we will be working with the respective clubs regarding the availability of these players. We hope to get them again for about 10 to 14 days before the Saff games.”
