Bangladesh is all set to be a part of World Vision International Asian Football Confederation Child Nutrition Programme (CNP) scheduled to start next year.
A two-member delegation of the World Vision Bangladesh visited Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) to exchange views about the project and met BFF general secretary Abu Naeem Shohag. “It’s a child nutrition and awareness programme based on football activities, we earlier expressed our interest to be involved in the programme and Bangladesh has been included,” said Shohag.
Shohag said the program will have tenure of 10 years and World Vision will chalk the detailed programme later.
Presently World Vision Bangladesh operates through 65 ADPs in 62 sub-districts, city and town located in 27 districts of Bangladesh and serves around four million people directly and indirectly with various human development activities.
Currently Plan Bangladesh is conducting a nationwide girl’s football tournament and has taken a number of awareness programme’s for the participating girl footballers.
