A Kings clinched the Shukrabad Champions Trophy 2025 after beating Slugter House in the final of the tournament, held at the Sobhanbag colony field Friday.
A Kings emerged victorious in the penalty shootout after the score was locked at 1-1 at the end of normal time.
The champion team received Tk50,000 from the organisers, while the runner-up side got Tk25,000.
The tournament was an initiative by the organisers to bring together the youth of the locality through sports and Shaon, one of the organisers, hoped more of such competitions would be a source of inspiration for the young generation.
Sheikh Robiul Alam, executive member, Bangladesh Nationalist Party, distributed prizes among the finalists as the chief guest, while Saidur Rahman Said, former general secretary of Kalabagan BNP, and Mezbah Uddin Monir, general secretary of 17 No. ward BNP, were also present on the occasion.
