Bangladesh football team are set to go through a 13-day long training camp in Saudi Arabia prior to their opening AFC Asian Cup 2027 qualifying fixture against India.
The men in red and green led by head coach Javier Cabrera will stay in the Middle East country from March 5 to 17 before the India match, scheduled for March 25.
The first meeting of the newly formed national teams committee chaired by Bangladesh Football Federation president Tabith Awal took place virtually Monday where the decision was taken.
The training camp of the Bangladesh team before the much-awaited match will begin on February 28 in Dhaka before they fly to Saudi Arabia next month.
Amer Khan has been handed the responsibility of the team manager.
Cabrera earlier announced a 38-member preliminary squad for the India tie, including two new expatriate midfielders in Hamza Choudhury and Fahamedul Islam.
The squad will be trimmed to 28 players before the two-week training camp.
