Nabib Newaj Jibon slammed a hat-trick as Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society hammered Fakirerpool Young Men's Club 6-0, while Mohammedan thrashed Chittagong Abahani by similar margin in the Bashundhara Group Federation Cup Tuesday.
Jibon got his opener in the added time of the first half before scoring two more within half an hour in the second half.
Meraj Hossain Opi, Samuel Boateng and Fahim Nur Toha added one each for the old Dhaka outfit in Mymensingh.
Mohammedan meanwhile, routed Chittagong Abahani 6-0 in the capital’s Kings Arena.
Souleymane Diabate, Jewel Mia, Ali Hossain, Muzaffarov Muzaffarzan, Sourav Dewan and Razu Ahmed Zisan netted one each for the Black and Whites.
