Sazzad nets hat-trick in Brothers’ thrashing, Fortis stun Kings

It was the 1st win for both Brothers and Fortis in Group A, while Kings tasted their 1st loss

Sazzad Hossen and Gambian Mustapha Drammeh scored a hat-trick each as Brothers Union routed Dhaka Wanderers Club 8-0, while Fortis shocked Bashundhara Kings 2-0 in the Federation Cup Tuesday. 

Sazzad's goal came in the 29th, 48th and 82nd minutes.

Mustapha also struck one in the first half and two after the break. 

Kawser Ali Rabbi and Eleta Kingsley added one each in the game held in Mymensingh. 

Kings meanwhile were left stunned at home after two quick goals in the second half set the tone. 

Jasur Jumaev and Mohammad Abdullah netted in the 71st and 78th minute respectively for the three points.
