Five-time world champions Brazil and two-time world champions Argentina playing in Dhaka seems like a distant dream, but BFF president Kazi Salahuddin believes it is possible in the future.
The man who was instrumental behind bringing Lionel Messi and a full-fledged Argentine team to Dhaka back in September 2011 was reacting to the reporters at the his office yesterday. "At the moment I am not in a position to bring Argentina to Dhaka, but I have a dream to bring the two powerhouses of the world football Brazil and Argentina in Dhaka, maybe within two years" said the BFF boss.
Salahuddin received a letter from Barcelona at the start of the year that said the Catalan giants are interested to visit Dhaka, but for financial strains BFF did not proceed further. The gateway of the high-profile international matches opened after Dhaka hosted Argentina and Nigeria in 2011.
