Bangladesh conceded injury-time goal to lose points against Guam in their second match of the AFC Under-20 Asian Cup 2025 qualifiers in Haiphong, Vietnam Monday.
The game ended in a 2-2 draw.
Maruful Haque’s side went ahead in the game twice but could not maintain the lead at the end.
Mirajul Islam opened the scoring in the sixth minute before Shuntaro Suzuki equalized from a penalty in the 75th minute.
Moinul Islam gave Bangladesh the lead again three minutes before the end of normal time but Curtis Harmon scored one minute into stoppage time to make things all square again.
Bangladesh earlier lost to Syria in the first match.
They will face hosts Vietnam Friday.
After the game, Maruful admitted that their chances of qualification have all but ended.
