Bangladesh head coach Javier Cabrera has announced a 23-man squad for the upcoming FIFA friendly matches against Bhutan, including Under-20 star Mirajul Islam.
Alongside his team, Mirajul just returned home Thursday afternoon after securing Bangladesh’s maiden SAFF U-20 Championship where he finished as the top scorer and was adjudged most valuable player.
U-20 forward Rabby Hossain Rahul and defender Shakil Ahad Topu have also been included in the final squad of Bangladesh’s senior team who are scheduled to fly off to Bhutan’s capital Thimphu Friday.
The two matches are slated for September 5 and 8.
