Sauravi Akanda Prity, who netted both goals during the win over Nepal, is likely to be unavailable for the second match against India in Kathmandu Tuesday.

Prity was substituted in the second half of the Nepal game last Saturday after scoring two first-half goals.

“She (Prity) says she has minor pain and still wants to play. We have to look at it cautiously,” said Bangladesh head coach Saiful Bari Titu.

Titu called the India tie important and interesting as the winner will qualify for the final.

“It’s an interesting match because these two teams have the chance to play the final, so in that sense, it’s like a dress rehearsal of the final,” said Titu.

“This clash is important. We will know where we stand, what is our true identity.”

The coach praised the attacking front of India who thrashed Bhutan 7-0 in the tournament opener.

“We have to find out their strong and weaker sides and also know where we can be competitive,” he said.

After each team play each other once, the top two finishers will contest the finale Sunday.
