Young star Sheikh Morsalin has been called back to the Bangladesh football team as the men in red and green started residential training camp ahead of the opening group fixtures of the World Cup qualifiers against Australia and Lebanon later this month.
Morsalin will join Javier Cabrera’s troop along with the other national booters of Bashundhara Kings after Tuesday’s crucial AFC Cup home tie against Mohun Bagan.
The 17-year old forward was earlier temporarily suspended for breaching discipline and omitted from the playoff matches of World Cup pre-qualifiers against the Maldives.
He was fined by the probe committee and later cleared for selection.
Cabrera included him in the 30-man preliminary squad announced Sunday.
The first training session was held at the practice ground of Bashundhara Sports Complex Monday evening.
The national players of the Kings trained with the club at the adjacent Kings Arena around the same time.
Cabrera also called Sheikh Russel midfielder Chandon Roy for the first time.
The final 23-man squad will be announced before the team fly off to Australia Friday for the opening Group I match against the Socceroos in Melbourne on November 16.
