Abahani Limited will take on Air Force football team on the inaugural day of the season opening Independence Cup which is kicking off at three different venues at the same time Friday.
The match between Abahani and Air Force will begin at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj at 2:30pm while Bangladesh Police FC and Brothers Union face off at Birshrestha Flt Lt. Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
The 13-team tournament will be officially inaugurated in Dhaka at the Kings Arena through the match between Sheikh Russel KC and Rahmatganj MFS.
