The prize giving ceremony of the Walton-Dhaka Tribune World Cup Football Quiz was held at the Dhaka Tribune office in the capital's Panthapath Wednesday.
Former Bangladesh football team striker and Mohammedan Sporting Club head coach Alfaz Ahmed was present as the special guest.
A Rahman won the first prize - 220-liter Walton Refrigerator - of the first round while Tanzina clinched the first prize - Walton 43 inch LED TV - of the second round.
The other first round winners are Sharif from Noakhali, Rokeya Begum from Mohakhali, Sharika from Mohakhali, Mohammad Arafat, Mohammad Rabbi from Mohakhali, Mohammad Sunny, Rabeya Arif from Manik Nagar and Yeasin Akter from Sabujbagh.

The other second round winners are Apon, Elias from Ramganj, Akhi from Noakhali, Araf Uddin from Dhaka, Shanta from Banani, A Rahman, Sumon from Motijheel and Al Hasan Ruhani from Kamalapur.
The two rounds of quizzes were run in Dhaka Tribune's daily newspaper throughout the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022.
Mohammad Shahjada Salim, Senior Executive Director and Head of PR, Media & Branding and Static Ad & Beautification, Marketing & Communication Department of Walton and Augustin Sujan, Additional Operative Director, Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC also graced the occasion.
Also present at the event were, among others, Shamsul Areefin, Dhaka Tribune's Head of Advertisement (Private), Razib Hossain, Dhaka Tribune's Senior Executive, and the Dhaka Tribune Sports team.
